Meet Creeple, the free-to-use avatar generator developed in response to the NFT bubble and shady approaches. According to studies, 70% of the US population doesn't know what an NFT is. On top of that, there are numerous user problems with getting the artwork secured: Understanding how to connect it in a digital wallet and steering away from untrustworthy projects. I began to feel that there may be a market for people simply wanting a customisable avatar rather than getting on the blockchain itself. Unlike non-fungible tokens, it wouldn't ensure that your avatar was unique, but with around 100 million possible variations on the current generation of Creeple, you'd unlikely see exact duplicates. On top of that, given the low barrier to entry, you could always create another, rather than being beholden to a design you may have liked months ago but now weren't so keen on. There is one "default" tier (called "Peeple") and the 3 Creeple options that you have to pay to export (Vampires, Demons, and Lizards).
